G1practiceteston.ca is a free Ontario G1 practice test website built for one purpose — helping you pass the G1 knowledge test on your first try.
We are not a driving school. We do not sell lessons, BDE courses, or road test packages. Every page on this site is focused entirely on the G1 written knowledge test — the first step in Ontario’s Graduated Licensing System.

Why We Built This
The Ontario G1 test has a surprisingly high failure rate — not because the test is hard, but because most people walk in underprepared. The official MTO Driver’s Handbook is dense. Reading it once does not prepare you for the way questions are worded on the actual test.
We built g1practiceteston.ca to fix that. Our practice questions mirror the real exam format. Every answer comes with a plain-English explanation so you understand the rule, not just the correct letter. Most students who use our tests consistently pass within 2 to 3 days of practice.

Our Content Standards
Every question on this site is based on the Official MTO Driver’s Handbook. We review our question bank whenever the Ministry of Transportation updates the handbook and update our content within days of any change. The current test bank reflects the 2026 edition of the MTO Driver’s Handbook.
